International tax

Our tax lawyers aim to deliver an unrivalled client experience. We work closely with a broad range of clients domestically and across the globe, from start-ups to mature private companies, to FTSE 250 clients.

How can our tax and incentives department help you?

The team is made up of over 20 lawyers who are specialists in their field. Our lawyers have a deep-rooted knowledge of the latest trends and proven experience in providing a comprehensive service and negotiating the best outcome for their clients.

We work closely with individuals and companies investing in the UK, in addition to UK-based clients operating in global markets to allow them to achieve their strategic goals. Through our longstanding membership of the World Services Group (an international network of leading professional services firms) we work seamlessly with local advisers to provide integrated advice.

We can advise on complex international tax and incentives issues, including:

  • multi-jurisdictional transactions, including M&A, reorganisations, restructurings and demergers
  • structuring inward investment into the UK
  • holding company structures, including in relation to intellectual property
  • guidance on tax residence and permanent establishment risks
  • internationally mobile employees
  • multi-jurisdictional share schemes
  • inward investment into UK Real Estate
